Fairfield, Connecticut (March 9, 2016) - The joy of every actor or actor is recognition for the role or roles that they play in various films. Further, it is expected that such a joy doubles when it is an Oscar. After several years of hard work in the industry with virtually no award to show for, Leonardo Dicaprio has finally won the coveted Oscar for the best male actor.

The award was based on his role in The Revenant. Speaking at the awards, the joyful actor expressed his gratitude for the award, which had seemed to take long overdue before it was passed onto him. He dedicated the award to his fans, as well as family members, whom he described as being supportive of his career, which has seen him attract several critics, most of whom are consumed by jealousy, and thereby offer negative criticism.

Being the ever-bubbly actor that Dicaprio is, he could not end his acceptance speech without a few of his jokes. During the Oscars, he reminded the event’s organizers of the importance of considering hardworking actors, as well as actors for awards early enough to ensure that they do not lose the morale, which they have built over time. Leonardo Dicaprio is 41 years old and has been in the acting profession for 25 years now.

Moreover, this is to encourage other actors, and actors to keep on working hard in spite of how long they have to wait to win an Oscar or any other recognition in the film industry.
